Kevin Hern is an aerospace engineer and successful businessman who built a McDonald's franchise empire before entering Congress in 2018. As a U.S. Representative, he has championed limited government, free markets, and fiscal responsibility, earning the Defender of Economic Freedom Award multiple times. He consistently opposes debt limit increases, Central Bank Digital Currency, and wasteful federal spending. A conservative Republican and Chair of the Republican Study Committee, Hern is seeking a Senate seat to continue fighting for Oklahomans and conservative principles. He announced his candidacy for the 2026 U.S. Senate election following a Senate resignation.
