Kevin Thompson

Kevin Thompson is an incumbent Republican Arizona Corporation Commissioner, having assumed office in January 2023. He is seeking re-election in the 2026 primary. A U.S. Air Force veteran, serving from 1988 to 1996 and participating in Operation Desert Storm, he holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Thompson's career experience includes working in small business development, government affairs, and previously serving as a Mesa City Councilmember from 2015 to 2023. He co-founded the Mesa Veterans Resource Center and is committed to transparency, with ethics disclosures, financial statements, and calendars publicly available as part of his Commission duties.
