Kim D. Summers

Kim D. Summers is a non-partisan candidate running for the St. Mary's County Board of Education to represent Commissioner District 3 in Maryland. A longtime local educator, Summers holds a bachelor's degree in human development from St. Mary's College of Maryland and a master's degree in education from the University of Maryland. She has extensive experience within the public school system, having worked as a classroom and instructional resource teacher before transitioning to administration. Summers notably served as the principal of Dynard Elementary, Evergreen Elementary, and Chopticon High School, bringing leadership experience to her campaign.
