Kimberly Plemmons is a lifelong resident of Buncombe County and a graduate of Reynolds High School. She had a 40-year career at Wells Fargo, retiring as a Senior Vice President in 2018. After retirement, she became a substitute teacher in the Erwin District. She was elected to the Board of Education in November 2022 and has been a member since December of that year. Her husband and two sons are graduates of Erwin High School. Her community involvement includes serving on the Buncombe County Schools Foundation Board, the Mountain Child Advocacy Board, and being a member of the Children's Welfare League.
