Kirk Cullimore is an incumbent Republican State Senator for Utah's 19th District, a position he has held since 2023, after previously representing the 9th District from 2019 to 2023. He currently serves as the Majority Leader of the Utah Senate, assuming that role in January 2025. An attorney by profession, Cullimore earned an associate's degree from Utah Valley University, a Bachelor of Arts from Brigham Young University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Born and raised in Sandy, Utah, he has advocated for policies allowing the legislature to repeal ballot initiatives and banning water fluoridation. He is seeking re-election in 2026, having advanced from the Republican primary without appearing on the ballot.
