Kirk VanGelder is a lifelong Clark County resident and has been an Automotive Technology Instructor at Cascadia Technical Academy and Clark College for over 30 years. He holds two AAS degrees with honors from Clark College in Automotive Technology and Auto Body Collision Repair. He is also a textbook author and e-learning content developer for an automotive technology curriculum. His elected experience includes being a Precinct Committee Officer. He has served as president of the Technology Educators of Oregon and the Fern Prairie Grange, and as Vice President/Treasurer of the Neighborhood Association Council of Clark County.
