Kriselda Valderrama is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing Legislative District 26 since January 10, 2007. Born in Washington, D.C., she earned a Bachelor of Science in respiratory therapy from Salisbury University before entering public service. Throughout her tenure in the House of Delegates, she has held significant leadership positions, including serving as Deputy Majority Whip and later as Deputy Majority Leader. Her legislative experience includes service on the Judiciary Committee, and she currently holds the role of Chair for the Economic Matters Committee. She is also an active participant in the Prince George's County Delegation and the Legislative Asian-American and Pacific-Islander Caucus.
