Kyle Shipp

Kyle Shipp is the current mayor of Pittsboro, North Carolina. He is a U.S. Army veteran and an engineering professional with a Master's degree in Engineering from Kettering University. His career includes roles at Microsoft as a Senior BAS Engineer, Meta as a BMS Quality Manager, and various positions at DPR Construction, focusing on building automation and smart building initiatives. Before being elected mayor in 2023, he served for four years as a town commissioner. Shipp is also actively involved in the community, serving as the President of the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Carolina.
