Kyler L. Gilkey

Kyler Gilkey, a Memphis native and Democrat, is running for the Tennessee House of Representatives, District 84, to bring fresh leadership and results-driven solutions. A University of Memphis alumnus with degrees in Political Science and Criminal Justice, he has extensive experience as a policy advisor in the U.S. House of Representatives, having worked for Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager Dove and Congressman Steve Cohen. Gilkey champions strong schools, safe neighborhoods, affordable housing, and economic opportunities for all Tennesseans. He has been recognized as a "Changemaker 40 Under 40" and served as a 2024 Democratic National Convention Delegate.
