Lanlan Xu

Lanlan Xu is a candidate for the Howard County Board of Education. A resident of the county for over a decade, she is a parent to two children who have attended local public schools. Professionally, Xu serves as the Vice President of Health Policy at a consulting firm. Her extensive public service background includes senior roles at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and experience as a policy advisor at the White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders. Her community involvement includes current service on the AAPI Commission of Howard County and previous appointments to the Howard County Commission for Women, the Columbia Festival of the Arts, and the Howard County Tourism Board.
