Larry Azevedo is a businessman and Democratic candidate for Governor of California in 2026. Born in Dos Palos, California, he grew up participating in 4-H and FFA programs. After working in agriculture, Azevedo earned an associate's degree as an auto-diesel technician in Arizona. He later returned to his hometown, where he opened an auto and truck repair shop. His business ventures eventually expanded into a trucking company and various real estate investments alongside his family.
