Larry Don Suckla is an incumbent Representative for Colorado House District 58, a role he holds after serving two terms as Montezuma County Commissioner, earning Colorado Commissioner of the Year in 2017. A rancher, farmer, and auctioneer, he also has a background in logging, building, and landscaping. With his wife, Julie, he operates a ranch farming hay, winter wheat, and Olathe sweet corn. Suckla is a retired firefighter and EMT with the Lewis-Arriola Volunteer Fire Department. He advocates for local control, Colorado Water Rights, and private property rights, aiming to leave a better world for future generations.
