Lasima O. Packett is a retired military veteran and community advocate running for the Indiana State Senate to represent District 31. She served in the Indiana Army National Guard for two decades, retiring in 2018 after deployments supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Packett previously worked as a White House intern during the Obama Administration and recently served as a Mayor's Neighborhood Advocate for the City of Indianapolis. She resides in Hamilton County.
