Lisa Cline is the incumbent for District 5 on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education, having been elected in 2022. She is a retired educator with over 39 years of experience in education. Cline earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secondary Education and History from Clemson University and a Master's Degree in School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She taught in middle and high schools for 10 years before moving to Charlotte in 1990. Her civic involvement includes membership in the Charity League of Charlotte and Rotary.
