Prior to her time in Congress, McClain spent more than 30 years in the business sector, including helping start Hantz Financial. She earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Northwood University. A resident of Romeo, Michigan, she serves as the Chair of the House Republican Conference. McClain is running for re-election to represent Michigan's 9th Congressional District.
