Dr. Lisa Wisotsky is seeking re-election to the Englewood City Council, representing Ward 2. Having served for three and a half years, she has held significant leadership roles including Council President and multiple terms as Council President Pro Tempore, and notably chaired the Strategic Parks Vision Plan. A physician with a background in public health, she approaches her work with a focus on prevention, data, and long-term impact. Her prior community involvement includes serving as president of the Englewood Board of Health, founding the Teens for Peace program, and establishing the Friends of the John T. Wright Arena nonprofit after Hurricane Sandy. Wisotsky is known for her responsiveness, commitment to the community, and her work on issues such as traffic safety, flood mitigation, and stormwater management.
