Luke Clippinger is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing Legislative District 46 in Baltimore City since his election in 2011. A Baltimore native, Clippinger is an attorney who previously served as an Assistant State's Attorney for Anne Arundel County, where he prosecuted cases related to illegal guns and domestic violence. He earned his undergraduate degree from Earlham College and his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville School of Law. In the legislature, he serves as the Chair of the House Judiciary Committee, focusing on policy related to criminal justice reform, gun control, and renewable energy. He was one of the first openly gay members of the House of Delegates.
