MANNY RUTINEL FOR CONGRESS

Son of a Latina single mother, Manny Rutinel worked at McDonald's and sold plasma as a teen to help pay his family's bills. He served as an economist for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and was a first responder in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria. He holds a master's degree in economics from Johns Hopkins University and a J.D. from Yale Law School, later practicing as an attorney defending communities against large corporations. Appointed to the Colorado House of Representatives (District 32) in 2023, he is the Democratic nominee for Colorado's 8th Congressional District in 2026, campaigning to lower costs, protect Social Security and Medicare, and stop immigration cruelty.
