Marc D. Gross is an incumbent judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, having been appointed by Governor Jerry Brown in 2013. His current term is set to end in January 2027. Prior to his appointment, he worked at Gross & Gross PC starting in 1982. He earned his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1977 and his J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 1981. He is registered as a Democrat. In February 2026, it was reported that Judge Gross had decided not to seek reelection and that his last day on the bench would be March 18, making Office No. 66 an open seat.
