Marjorie K. Eastman is a U.S. Army combat veteran who served for ten years as an intelligence officer and commander, including two combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. She earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego, a master's in International Security from the University of Denver, and an MBA from Vanderbilt University. Eastman is an author known for her book "The Frontline Generation: How We Served Post 9/11," which received a 2017 Independent Publishers National Book Award. She previously ran for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate in North Carolina in 2022. She has served as a citizen member of the Town of Cary's Economic Development Committee. She lives in Cary with her husband and son.
