Mark E. Covington

Mark E. Covington is a nonpartisan candidate running for an at-large seat on the Howard County Board of Education in Maryland. An experienced educator, Covington has dedicated his career to public school administration and science instruction. He previously served as an assistant principal within the Howard County school system for seven years and as a principal and science teacher in Prince George's County. Covington earned a bachelor's degree from Towson University and a master's in administration from Bowie State University. He also serves as Vice Chair of the school district's Community Advisory Council.
