Mark E. Huizenga is the incumbent Republican State Senator representing Michigan's 30th District. Before his election to the Senate in 2021, he served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 2019 to 2021 and was the Mayor of Walker, Michigan, from 2013 to 2018. Huizenga earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Calvin University and a master's degree in management from Aquinas College. He is also the founder of a healthcare consulting firm.
