Matthew Willard is a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives, representing District 97 since January 2020, and currently serves as the House Democratic Caucus Chairman. Born and raised in New Orleans, he graduated from Jesuit High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing from the University of New Orleans. His professional career includes roles in marketing and communications, currently as Marketing Director at Yokogawa Fluence Analytics. Public service is a family tradition, as he is the nephew of former City Councilmember Cynthia Willard-Lewis.
