Max Burns

Max Burns is an incumbent State Senator representing Georgia's District 23, having been sworn into the Georgia Senate on January 11, 2021. A Republican, he actively serves on several key legislative committees. He holds the position of Chairman for the Higher Education Committee and the Ethics Committee, and is a member of the Economic Development and Tourism Committee, Agriculture and Consumer Affairs Committee, and Children and Families Committee. Senator Burns also holds ex-officio roles on the Appropriations and Transportation Committees. He is currently campaigning for the 2026 State Senate election.
