Melissa Chaudhry

Melissa Chaudhry is a community organizer, nonprofit developer, and constitutional advocate, dedicated to ensuring all people live with dignity, safety, and opportunity. The wife and daughter of disabled American veterans, she holds a background in regenerative agriculture and community resilience. As a union member and former Secretary of the County Democratic Party, she has deep roots in immigrant, refugee, and faith communities. She advocates for affordable housing, sustainable infrastructure, healthcare access, and a foreign policy rooted in restraint and diplomacy. In 2024, she ran a grassroots campaign for Congress in Washington's 9th District, earning nearly 100,000 votes without corporate PAC money. She is running again to represent the people of this district, emphasizing leadership as duty and a constitutional spine.
