Melissa Elder is running for Oklahoma State Senate District 24 as an Independent, advocating for leadership that listens and delivers results. A lifelong Oklahoman who raised her family in the state, she values authenticity and generosity. Elder is committed to strengthening public schools, supporting healthy families, and building an economy that works for everyone. She seeks to create opportunities and laws that support teachers, small business owners, healthcare workers, and public servants, addressing issues of equity and access in education, healthcare, and work. She believes the state's health, education, and working conditions have been neglected for too long and hopes to partner with Oklahomans to find solutions.
