Meredith Mcginnis

Meredith McGinnis is a Democratic candidate running for Oklahoma State Senate District 18 in the November 2026 general election, having advanced unopposed from her primary. An attorney by profession, she earned her bachelor's and law degrees from the University of Oklahoma in 2009 and 2012 respectively, after graduating from Putnam City West High School. She is campaigning on strengthening communities, protecting women and children by enhancing support for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, improving education, supporting parents and children, expanding mental health access, and advocating for criminal justice reform. McGinnis states she is running to fight for what matters to families and make Oklahoma safer.
