Michael Carter is an incumbent Democratic Representative in the Colorado General Assembly, serving House District 36, which includes parts of Adams and Arapahoe counties. An attorney by profession, he received his education from the University of New Mexico and the University of Denver. Currently, he serves as Vice Chair for the State, Civic, Military, & Veterans Affairs Committee and is also a member of the Statutory Revision Committee.
