Michael Dublin is a native North Carolinian from Raleigh, a retired public school teacher, and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran (1986–1988). He graduated from Sanderson High School and North Carolina State University (1999). He has led a prison ministry for more than two decades and is co-chair of the Black Caucus of the North Carolina Green Party.
