Michael H. Wray, born April 6, 1967, is a businessman from Gaston, North Carolina, where he operates an insurance agency and a hardware store. He previously represented the 27th district in the North Carolina House of Representatives from 2005 until losing the Democratic primary in March 2024. Before his state-level service, Wray was a Gaston town commissioner. He attended Barton College. Wray has announced his intention to run to reclaim the seat in 2026.
