Dr. Michael F. Steiner is a general pediatrician and serves as the Pediatrician in Chief for UNC Children's Hospital and Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs in the Department of Pediatrics. He has also been named Associate Dean for Outreach Initiatives at UNC Health. His medical and research work focuses on systems of care for children with medical complexities, quality improvement, and primary care. He received his medical degree from Temple University.
