Michael Tyrone Brown, Sr.

Michael Tyrone Brown, Sr. is a Democratic candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates in Legislative District 10. He is a retired administrator from the State of Maryland's Department of Juvenile Services, where he dedicated his career to public service. Brown also served as an adjunct professor at Morgan State University from 1996 to 2006. A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he served from 1973 to 1977. His academic credentials include a Master of Science from Coppin State College, a Bachelor of Science from the University of Baltimore, and an Associate of Arts from Anne Arundel Community College. Brown has prior campaign experience, having run for the same office as a Republican in 2018 and as a write-in candidate in a past general election.
