Michael V. Jesic is an incumbent judge on the Superior Court of Los Angeles County. He was first elected to the court in 2008. Before becoming a judge, he served as a Deputy District Attorney for Los Angeles County for 13 years, from 1995 to 2008, where he spent over six years in the Hardcore Gang Division. Jesic was born in Belgrade and immigrated to the United States as an infant. He earned his bachelor's degree from California State University, Northridge, in 1992 and his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1995. He won re-election in 2014 and 2020, running unopposed in both elections. His current term is set to end in January 2027.
