He spent two decades in corporate leadership at AT&T and founded the nonprofit Connecting Academics. White currently serves as an elected Ypsilanti Township Delegate and President of Educate Youth. He is running as a Democratic candidate for Michigan State Senate District 15, advocating for affordable housing, economic justice, and workforce training.
