Past campaign details are available on the full race page.
Michele Poague is a 63-year-old Libertarian candidate, business manager, and author from Aurora, Colorado. A Colorado native, she has been a political activist and small business manager for over 35 years, working at Shotgun Willie’s show club since 1984. Poague has been actively involved with local, state, and national chapters of the Libertarian Party for more than 30 years, serving as state party chair in the mid-1990s. She has made multiple unsuccessful bids for a Colorado State Senate seat, running in 2012, 2016, and 2020. Her stated reason for seeking public office is to work toward a smaller and less intrusive Colorado government. While her general policy positions are often unknown, in 2020 she supported specific gun reform policy to save lives.
