Michelle K Conners

Michelle Conners, a Ph.D. holder born in Bethpage, New York, is the Executive Director of Kennebunk Free Library. She earned degrees from Adelphi and Queens College, culminating in a Ph.D. from the University of Southern Maine. A dedicated librarian, she has been recognized with the Mainebiz 40 Under 40 award and as Maine Library Advocate of the Year. Conners is driven by a passion for fostering community dialogue and supporting families navigating developmental and behavioral health challenges, a cause close to her as a parent of neurodivergent children. She aims to create inclusive spaces and facilitate cross-aisle conversations.
