Mike Griffith serves as a Republican member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing Legislative District 35A. He was appointed to the office by Governor Larry Hogan and assumed his duties in January 2020. A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Griffith served as a military police officer from 1995 to 2002. Following his military service, he established a career in the private sector focused on business development and marketing, which included holding the positions of Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for a property management company. Within the legislature, his committee assignments have included the Ways and Means Committee and the Judiciary Committee. A native of Maryland, Griffith was born in Baltimore and is a graduate of Joppatowne High School.
