State Representative Mike Harris was first elected to Michigan's 52nd House District in November 2022, representing parts of Livingston and Washtenaw counties. He served 22 years in the U.S. Army, retiring as a lieutenant colonel. Prior to his legislative role, Harris worked as a chief financial officer and a high school teacher. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Arizona and a master’s degree in finance from Webster University. He resides in Brighton with his wife and four children.
