Mike Madokoro

Mike Madokoro was appointed to serve as a Judge in the Los Angeles County Superior Court by Governor Gavin Newsom in February 2025. Prior to his appointment, he was a Partner at the law firm Bowman and Brooke LLP, where he had worked since 1999. At the firm, he also served as a Managing Partner or Co-Managing Partner from 2006 to 2024. His legal career, spanning over 30 years, focused on product liability litigation, defending major manufacturers in complex cases. He previously worked as an associate at Morgan, Wenzel and McNicholas from 1990 to 1994 and as a law clerk and associate at Adams and Kirkpatrick from 1989 to 1990. Madokoro earned his Juris Doctor degree from the McGeorge School of Law.
