Mike Mueller is the incumbent Republican State Representative for Michigan's 72nd District, having first assumed office in 2019. A U.S. Navy veteran, Mueller previously served as a sheriff's deputy in Washtenaw and Livingston counties for nearly two decades. He earned a degree in criminology from Eastern Michigan University and graduated from the police academy. Additionally, Mueller co-owns and operates his family's orchard and cider mill in Linden.
