A union locomotive engineer for BNSF Railway for decades, he has a history of community service including as Chairman of Rural Water District #13 and on the Genesis Christian Academy Board. Stieben, who holds a History degree from Bethel College, is a father of four and resides near Tonganoxie with his wife, Susan. His platform prioritizes transparency and efficiency, capping property tax increases, freezing taxes for seniors 65+, and supporting local agriculture. He advocates for a moratorium on mega data centers pending a public vote, education reform, and strong families, asserting a need for principled leaders in Topeka.
