Misun Kim is a small business owner with a background in retail and commercial real estate. She immigrated to the United States from South Korea in 1991 and has lived in Charlotte for over three decades. She earned a bachelor's degree from Kwangwoon University in Seoul. Kim is the Director of the Korean American Consulting Group and has been a commercial realtor for 22 years. She previously ran for Mayor of Charlotte in 2023.
