Mohammad Arif earned a bachelor's degree from Hailey College and a master's in economics from Punjab University. After immigrating to California in 1991, he attended Abraham Lincoln Law College. He has a background as a legal administrator for law firms, focusing on the legal needs of immigrants. He has previously been a candidate for various offices, including the State Senate in a 2013 special election and Lieutenant Governor in 2022.
