Othman Ali Alaansi is a first-generation Yemeni American and lifelong resident of Dearborn, Michigan. He earned a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Alaansi has built a career in the technology sector, previously working as a software developer for General Motors and currently serving as a QA automation engineer at Infinite Electronics. Active in his community, he ran for Dearborn City Council in 2025 and is now running for the Michigan House of Representatives.
