Owen Silverman Andrews

Owen Silverman Andrews is the Green Party candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Maryland, running alongside gubernatorial candidate Andy Ellis. A Baltimore resident, Andrews works as an educator and community organizer. Since 2018, he has been an instructional specialist of English language learning at a Maryland community college and has taught English to immigrants since 2013. He is also a doctoral student in education at the University of Virginia. Andrews has been active in politics since 2014, participating in Green Party campaigns in 2016, 2018, and 2020. He is a former co-chair of the Baltimore City Green Party, bringing extensive grassroots organizing experience to his candidacy.
