Patrick "Pat" Harrigan is the incumbent U.S. Representative for North Carolina's 10th district, having assumed office in January 2025. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point with a degree in Nuclear Engineering. Harrigan served as a combat-decorated Green Beret in the U.S. Army Special Forces, completing two deployments to Afghanistan and earning two Bronze Star Medals. After his military service, he co-founded and owns several firearms industry companies. His decision to run for Congress was significantly motivated by the U.S. troop withdrawal from Afghanistan.
