Dr. Patrick Sellers is the incumbent State Representative for Alabama House District 57, a position he assumed in November 2022. A Democrat, he is currently seeking re-election to continue serving his district. As a legislator, he has sponsored resolutions recognizing community achievements and commemorating individuals. He also championed a House Bill to prohibit smoking or vaping marijuana in a motor vehicle when a child is present, setting criminal penalties and mandating reporting to the Department of Human Resources.
