Paul Bailey is an incumbent Republican State Senator representing Tennessee's 15th Senate District. A conservative family man, farmer, and businessman from Sparta, he was born in 1968, is married to Amy, and has three children. A graduate of Tennessee Tech University, Senator Bailey has served in the General Assembly since 2014, spanning the 109th through 114th terms. He currently chairs the Commerce and Labor Committee and serves on the Fiscal Review, State and Local Government, and Transportation and Safety Committees. Focused on moving the Upper Cumberland forward, he is seeking re-election in the Republican primary on August 6, 2026, and is affiliated with various agricultural, business, and pro-gun organizations, including the National Rifle Association.
