Peter J. Pappas is a candidate for West Morris Regional High School District Board of Education in Chester Township, New Jersey — 2025 General Election. Running as Non-Partisan.

Dr. Peter J. Pappas is an academic vascular surgeon who has lived in Chester Township with his family since 2008. He is a board-certified General and Vascular Surgeon who graduated from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, completed his General Surgery Residency at Cooper Hospital University Medical Center, and a Vascular Surgery Fellowship at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School. He has had an extensive academic and clinical career, rising to the rank of full Professor and Chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery at NJMS, and later serving as Chair of Surgery at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. He is nationally recognized for his clinical research in venous disease, with numerous peer-reviewed publications. He and his wife have five children, all of whom have gone through or are currently in the Chester and West Morris Regional school systems. His term on the West Morris Regional High School District Board of Education ends in 2025.
