Philip L. Dumenil is a Republican candidate for Queen Anne's County Commissioner representing District 3 in Maryland. First elected in 2011, he is currently serving his third non-consecutive term in office. Born in California, Dumenil relocated to Maryland and worked as an electrician before spending twenty years in the hospitality industry. He later transitioned into a career as a licensed property, casualty, and life insurance agent. Deeply engaged in his Eastern Shore community since moving there in 2001, Dumenil has served as a youth baseball coach and high school athletic boosters president. He filed to run again in the 2026 primary election.
